A Transfer Ticket enables you to change buses without paying twice, if there is no direct bus service between the stops you wish to travel. Tell the driver of the first bus you board where you wish to travel to, then just hand the ticket to the driver of the next bus.

A Transfer Ticket costs £2.00 Adult and £1.00 Child.

Child Fares are not available to anyone boarding a bus after 2200 hours each day.

A Transfer Ticket is valid for a one-way journey from one nominated Fare Stage to another within the Eastbourne Fares Area and allows one change of service. Transfer Tickets are only available to destinations not served by the service you are boarding.

A Transfer Ticket has a time limit of two hours. You must have made the second journey within two hours from the issue time printed on the ticket otherwise it will not be valid for travel.

A Transfer Ticket is NOT valid as a return ticket. The direction of travel must be the same as that shown on the ticket. For example, a ticket showing transfer from Fare Stage 1 - Town Centre to Fare Stage 28 - Langney cannot be used for a journey from Fare Stage 28 - Langney to Fare Stage 1 - Town Centre.
