Upper Horsebridge - Bus Stop out of use
Due to contractors working on Upper Horsebridge Road in Hailsham, the Westbound bus stop is out of use until further notice. Customers requiring Services 51 or 51A towards Eastbourne should use the bus stop round the corner in London Road. For customers requiring Services 52 and X52 there is a temporary stop sited towards Horsebridge village, just past the London Road junction. Service 52 and X52 journeys towards Eastbourne are not affected. We apologise for any inconvenience caused whilst these works are in progress. |

Uckfield Carnival Processions - Service 54 diversion
On Saturday 6th September between 1.30pm and 2.15pm and again between 7.15pm and 10.30pm traffic will be unable to access Uckfield High Street. This is to allow two Carnival Processions to take place. During these times journeys on Service 54 between Eastbourne and Uckfield will operate from Halland via A22, Uckfield By-pass to Bell Lane for access to the Bus Station and vice versa when departing from Uckfield Bus Station. During these times journeys on Service 54 between East Grinstead and Uckfield will operate from Maresfield via A26 and A22, Uckfield By-pass to Bell Lane for access to the Bus Station and vice versa when departing from Uckfield Bus Station. Bus Stops in Eastbourne Rd, Uckfield High Street and London Rd will not be served during these times. We apologise for any inconvenience caused that is beyond our control. |

Meads Street closure - Services 3 and 3A diversion
On Saturday 6th September, Meads Street will be closed to traffic. This is to enable contractors to remove a crane. Because of this road closure Services 3 and 3A will operate the following alteration of route. All journeys will operate in service from Darley Road bus stop via Wellcombe Crescent, Dukes Drive and King Edwards Parade to Chesterfield Road. Buses will continue the length of Chesterfield Rd, into Milnthorpe Rd and St Johns Rd to the bus stop in Meads Rd adjacent to Gaudick Rd. From here buses will resume the normal route. If, due to inclement weather, the crane is unable to be removed on Saturday 6th September the contractors will try again on Sunday 7th September or even the weekend of 13th and 14th September. The diversion will apply whenever the contractors require it. We apologise for the inconvenience this may cause. |

London Road, East Grinstead Diversion Lifted - Service 54
We are pleased to announce that contractors have now completed works in London Road, East Grinstead. Service 54 journeys from East Grinstead Rail Station are now operating the normal route via London Road, serving all bus stops. |

Service 54 Alterations - Uckfield Community College pupils
Following the withdrawal of the service linking East Hoathly and Halland with Uckfield Community College, the following alterations to Service 54 will apply from Monday 15th September, on Uckfield Community College days only. The 0715 ex Eastbourne, Birch Rd to Uckfield Bus Station arriving 0819 will continue to Southview Drive arriving 0830. The 1610 ex Uckfield Bus Station to Eastbourne, Terminus Rd arriving 1724 will commence from Southview Drive at 1555. These journeys will not go into the college grounds but will serve the bus stop in Southview Drive, close to Downsview Crescent. |

Mayfield Street Market and Carnival - Service 52 Alteration
Saturday 20th September sees the annual Mayfield Street Market and Carnival Processions taking place. Mayfield Village will be closed to traffic from 12noon to 4pm and again from 6pm through the evening. From 12noon all Service 52 journeys will be diverted from Mayfield village and will use the A267 Mayfield by-pass for the remainder of the day. The last journeys to operate via Mayfield Village will be the 1007 Eastbourne to Tunbridge Wells due at Mayfield Post Office at 1109, and the 1110 Tunbridge Wells to Eastbourne due at Mayfield Post Office at 1144.
