London Road in East Grinstead will be closed to southbound traffic whilst pavement renewal works are carried out. During this time Service 54 will be unable to serve the bus stops in London Road and will be divereted via Brooklands Way, West Hill and West Street before rejoing the High Street and then following normal route.

Journeys heading northbound towards East Grinstead are not currently affected.

These works are scheduled to take approximately three months and we can only apologise for any inconvenience caused.

Road resurfacing works are due to take place for three days from Wednesday 18th June in Sevenoaks Road, Langney.

During these works the road will remain open but temporary traffic control will be in use and therefore slight delays may be experienced on services 1 / 1A / 1C and 5 in this area, particularly at peak times.

Customers are advised that from Monday 9th June the Service 52 journey departing from Eastbourne at 7.45 am will start 15 minutes earlier on Schooldays and be re-timed as far as Heathfield. This is due to this journey experiencing delays caused by the new phasing of traffic lights at Cophall Roundabout. On Non-Schooldays the service will operate as it currently does.

From the above date our fares will be revised as follows:

The Eastbourne Area fare will be £1.80 for adult single and boomerang tickets with child single and boomerang tickets remaining at 90 pence.

On services out of Eastbourne, adult and child single tickets will increase by 10 pence and return tickets will increase by 20 pence, except for fares between Eastbourne to Hailsham which will remain unchanged.

Eastbourne DayRover tickets will be revised to £3 adult when purchased on the bus.

Eastbourne Saver7 tickets will be revised to £11 adult when purchased on the bus.

Twelvecard tickets will be revised to £17 adult and £9 child.

All other ticket prices remain unchanged and PayPoint ticket prices will be revised from Sunday 6th July.
