| Monday 21st |
Closure of Meads Street - Service 3 / 3A Diversion
Meads Street will be closed to traffic for approximately two weeks from Monday 21st July due to roadworks and buses will be unable to use the stops in this road. Services 3 and 3A will therefore stop at the bus stop in Darley Road before continuing via Wellcombe Crescent, Foot of Beachy Head, Chesterfield Road and St Johns Road before resuming normal route at the stop in Meads Road adjacent to Gaudick Road. We can only apologise for any inconvenience caused by these works. |

| Saturday 26th |
Closure of Hailsham High Street
Hailsham High Street will be closed to traffic for a Charter Market on Saturday 26th and Sunday 27th July. Bus Services heading towards Eastbourne will therefore be diverted via Vicarage Lane and Vicarage Road and a temporary stop will be sited near to the Wealden District Council offices. |

East Sussex County Council Fares Revision
Most fares on East Sussex County Council Rider services will be revised from Sunday 27th July 2008. This is to bring fares into line with those charged by commercial bus operators and reflects the general increase in costs in providing these services. Customers are also advised that the weekly Freedom ticket will now cost £13 with the Pathfinder ticket at £11. This will affect Eastbourne Buses Route 53 and Route 54 between Uckfield and East Grinstead. |

| Monday 28th |
Closure of Farmlands Way - Service 51 / 51A Diversion
Farmlands Avenue will be closed to traffic for approximately four weeks whilst contractors resurface the road and replace the kerbing. During this time Services 51 and 51A are unable to serve the bus stops in this road. Services 51 and 51A will also be diverted so that buses heading from Eastbourne turn left from Coppice Avenue into Broad Road and travel past Willingdon Community College, right into Wannock Lane and then into Wannock Road and then back to normal Route. A temporary stop will be sited opposite the junction of Farmlands Way. For buses heading into Eastbourne the reverse route will be operated. We can only apologise for any inconvenience caused by these works. |
