7th
Service 52 Journey Alteration

From Monday 7th January, the Service 52 journey departing at 1345 hours from Birch Road, Eastbourne travelling towards Tunbridge Wells will no longer serve Mayfield and Rotherfield Villages on schooldays.

This journey will be re-numbered X52 and from Five Ashes will operate direct via the A267 to Mark Cross then continue to Tunbridge Wells arriving at The War Memorial at 1520.

On Saturdays and during school holidays this journey will continue to operate via Mayfield and Rotherfield.

We apologise for any inconvenience that may be caused by this alteration.


Monday
14th
Service 5 - Diversion in Westham

Owing to roadworks at Westham Crossroads, Service 5 will not be able to serve Pevensey Park Road from Monday 14th January and will therefore be diverted.

On journeys towards Beachlands the service will operate normally until St Johns Drive and then carry on along this road turning left into Castle View Gardens, right into St Johns Drive, Peelings Lane, Gallows Lane and Rattle Road to Westham High Street where the normal route will then be followed.

On journeys to Eastbourne, at Westham Crossroads, the Service 5 will carry straight along Rattle Road to Gallows Lane, Peelings Lane, St Johns Drive, Castle View Gardens, St Johns Drive and then back to normal route.

We can only apologise for any inconvenience caused and Service 5 will return to normal route as soon as these roadworks are completed which is scheduled for mid-February.


Sunday
27th
Service 51A - Hailsham Diversion

Due to roadworks closing part of South Road in Hailsham to traffic, Service 51A is unable to serve this road and will be diverted.

When heading into Hailsham, buses will continue along the A22 and turn right into Diplocks Way and then left onto South Road.

Buses travelling towards Eastbourne will turn right onto Diplocks Way and then left on the A22.

We can only apologise for any inconvenience caused due to circumstances beyond our control.
