Rover 6 is changing in February 2008

Over the past few months, East Sussex County Council and the Westham & Pevensey Local Transport Partnership have been working closely with the Cuckmere Community Bus to establish a volunteer-run community bus as a successor to Rover 6.

It is planned that the new community bus link will start on Tuesday 12 February 2008 and will initially operate on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.

The Westham & Pevensey Local Transport Partnership are working hard to offer a service on additional days but needs more volunteers to drive the bus and to take telephone bookings.

Please contact Joyce Richards on (01323) 763344 or Michael Nash on (01323) 760496 if you are able to help.

The last day of the Rover 6 operated by Eastbourne Buses will be on Saturday 9 February 2008.
