21st
Service 51A - Hailsham Diversion

Due to roadworks closing part of South Road to traffic for three Sundays from 21st October 2007, buses on Service 51A will be diverted and therefore unable to serve some of the stops along this road.

When heading into Hailsham buses will travel along the A22 then right into Diplocks Way and left onto South Road. Buses travelling towards Eastbourne will turn right onto Diplocks Way and then left onto the A22.

These works are also due to take place on Sunday 28th October and Sunday 4th November 2007. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause due to circumstances beyond our control.


Monday
22nd
Service 3 From Meads Village

Due to changes to the operation of service 3 to improve the reliability it may be necessary to change buses in the Town Centre when travelling from Meads.

Standard tickets will be issued and there will be no change to the fares.


Saturday
27th
Services 3 & 4 - Meads Village

Please note that due to the Beachy Head Marathon taking place on Saturday 27th October, bus services in Meads Village will not serve Welcombe Crescent, Upper Dukes Drive and the Seafront.

Services will operate via Milnthorpe Road, Darley Road (All Saints Hospital) and terminate and start from the Bus Stop in Meads Street.

Tuesday
30th
Services 3 Compton Street Diversion

Due to roadworks closing part of Compton Street to traffic from Tuesday 30th October until Friday 2nd November, buses on Service 3 will be diverted and therefore unable to serve bus stops along this road.

Buses will operate via Devonshire Place, Grand Parade and Silverdale Road in both directions. Buses will stop at the Lifeboat Museum on Grand Parade (Eastbourne Seafront) and temporary stops will be sited in Silverdale Road.

Severe Delays to Services in Hampden Park

Due to the crossing gates at Hampden Park Level Crossing being stuck down at approximately 1530 hours on Tuesday 30th October, we experienced severe delays to our services using this area. The delays lasted for three hours whilst engineers attempted to solve the problem.

We can only apologise for any inconvenience caused by this.

Service 51 - Evening Service to Hailsham

The evening Service 51 to Hailsham will continue to the end of November whilst a decision regarding its future funding is reached.
