Several roads around Eastbourne will be closed for a few hours this Sunday for the annual Remembrance Day march to the War Memorial. These include Cornfield Road, Trinity Trees and Lismore Road to/from the Memorial Roundabout. We will also be unable to access Terminus Road during this time and services will therefore be diverted as follows.

Buses from Seaside into Town Centre will from the Leaf Hall, operate via the seafront to the bandstand then Devonshire Place, Compton Street (Winter Garden), Carlisle Road, College Road (next to Congress Theatre), Gildredge Road and stop opposite Eastbourne Railway Station (between the Bus Lane and the Roundabout).

Buses from Town Centre to Seaside will not use Terminus Road and services will stop in Ashford Road. They will then operate along Ashford Road and Cavendish Place before turning left at the traffic lights into Seaside Road to resume normal route.

In Hailsham the High Street will be closed and service 51A will operate via Vicarage Field.

The evening Service 51 to Hailsham is being continued to March 2008 when our Summer Timetable will commence.

Hailsham High Street will be closed to traffic on Friday 30th November and Saturday 1st December owing to Hailsham Festive Season Event.

Services 51, 52, 53 and 54 will therefore be diverted during this time and will operate via Vicarage Lane and Vicarage Road with a temporary stop in Vicarage Lane close to the Wealden District Council offices.
