Owning to Roadworks at the junction of Friday Street and Rattle Road involving four-way temporary traffic lights, delays to Services 4 and 5 are being experienced partiuclarly at peak times.

We can only apologise for any inconvenience these roadworks may cause and will do everything we can to minimise any delays.

Owing to Roadworks at the junction of Friday Street and Rattle Road involving four-way temporary traffic lights severe traffic congestion is causing delays to Services 4 and 5.

Service 4 is therefore being diverted to use Adur Drive in both directions to avoid the roadworks. Service 5 travelling towards Langney Shopping Centre will serve Adur Drive and then turn at the roundabout on Rattle Road to travel back along Adur Drive to avoid having to navigate the roadworks twice. Temporary stops will be sited on the east side of Adur Drive.

These diversions will remain in place until the roadworks are completed and we can only apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.

Owing to roadworks the Bicycle Arms Road will be closed to traffic for approximately three days from Monday 22nd May. Service 52 will not therefore be able to serve Rotherfield and will operate via the main A267.

A shuttle bus service will be operated during the period of roadworks from Rotherfield to connect with the Service 52 at Mark Cross. This Shuttle Service will operate throughout the normal Service 52 timetable.

We can only apologise for any inconvenience caused by these works.

The following service changes will take place from Sunday 28th May 2006.

Services 1/1A
Minor changes to timetable, particularly evenings. Sunday daytime frequency increased to every 20 minutes for the summer period.

Service 2
Minor changes to timetable.

Service 2A
New timetable with later journeys on Monday to Saturday with an hourly service introduced on Sundays for the summer period.
The route of the Service 2A is also changed and operates from Town Centre, as now, via Southfields Road, Old Town, Green Street, Eldon Road, and Rodmill Drive to DG Hospital then via Decoy Drive, Lindfield Road, Brodrick Road, Hazelwood Avenue, Seven Sisters Road, Huggetts Lane and Eastbourne Road to Willingdon Triangle. Return from Willingdon Triangle to Town Centre is the reverse of the outward journey.

Service 3
Minor changes to timetable.

Service 3A
New route introduced for the summer period. From Town Centre as a Service 3 to Ramsay Way, Princes Road then direct via Langney Rise to Langney Shopping Centre, Larkspur Drive, Milfoil Drive, Langney Shopping Centre, Langney Rise, Princes Road and return to Town Centre.

Service 52
The 1745 hours journey from Harbour South will terminate at Heathfield.
The 1945 hours journey from Tunbridge Wells to Eastbourne will no longer operate.
