50p Day
Monday 26th September brings the first weekday of our new bus services for Eastbourne. This follows on from the successful streets ahead promotion held in the Borough last week and the signing of the new quality bus partnership for Eastbourne on Wednesday 21st September. To celebrate these exciting times for bus users in Eastbourne the flat fare for journeys in the Borough is being reduced for one day to 50p from the standard rate of £1.30. Announcing the offer Steve Barnett, Managing Director of Eastbourne Buses said; "We are pleased to make this offer to promote the new services, celebrate the signing of the Quality Bus Partnership and offer everyone a low cost trial of what we can provide. With the forthcoming bus priority schemes around the Borough and the soon to be introduced real time information system these are exciting times for the bus service user and provider in Eastbourne. The offer is for any single journey in the Eastbourne Borough flat fare zone which extends from Polegate to Pevensey Bay". |
