On Sunday 1st and Monday 2nd May Eastbourne Borough Council, in partnership with East Sussex Historic Vehicle Club, East Sussex Omnibus Society and various interested historic transport groups will hold Magnificent Motors on the beautiful Western Lawns situated on Eastbourne seafront.

The format will be the display and running of all types of vehicles, vintage fairground attractions, staging and entertainment. It is anticipated that in excess of 400 vehicles will visit the show enjoying a cavalcade along the seafront at the beginning of the event.

A vintage bus service will operate from Terminus Road to the Western Lawns. Starting at 1100 the service will be every 30 minutes until 1700 hours.

The Coast Road at Beachlands will be closed for roadworks between 1900 and 2300 hours on Monday 23rd, Tuesday 24th and Wednesday 25th.

Service 5 will therefore not serve Beachlands after this time.
