Hailsham Town Bus

From Monday 1st November we will be taking over the operation of the Hailsham Town Bus. This service is currently provided by LJ Edwards who have decided they no longer wish to operate this facility.

We are initally going to operate the current timetable but will be looking to change and improve the services in this area.

The fares charged on this service will reflect our Hailsham Town Zone fares and this will be £1-00 adult, 50p concession and 50p child single.

A Transfer Ticket enabling through travel to and from Eastbourne will also be available at the standard fares which will be £2-40 adult single and £2-70 adult return. This means that you can purchase a ticket on the Hailsham Town Bus, then transfer onto an Eastbourne service at Hailsham High Street for no extra charge.

Roadworks in Seaside

Gas Main Replacement works are currently taking place in Seaside. These works involve the use of temporary traffic lights and therefore increased traffic congestion.

The Bus Stop at opposite the Northbourne Road Junction will not be served for the duration of these works as buses cannot stop within these works.

We will closely monitor this situation and do everything we can to ensure that any disruption is kept to a minimum, but at peak times delays to services may be inevitable.

We apologise for any inconvenience these roadworks may cause.
