Due to a road accident at the junction of Langney Rise and The Rising, buses were unable to use this section of road and therefore Services 3 / 3A had to be diverted via Priory Road and Hide Hollow.

Severe traffic congestion also occurred for several hours while the accident was being dealt with and therefore many Bus Services using this area were subjected to delays.

Due to roadworks at the bus stop in Trinity Trees buses will be unable to use this road on Thursday 9th June. They will be diverted via Devonshire Place, Eastbourne Seafront and Cavendish Place. Nearest stops will be either Memorial Roundabout or near to the Hippodrome Theatre.

Owing to road resurfacing in Pevensey Road bus services travelling along Seaside towards town are being diverted from the Leaf Hall along the Seafront to Terminus Road then Trinity Trees.

Bus Stops opposite the Hippodrome Theatre and outside the Gala Bingo Hall are therefore not in use. The work should be completed by the end of the day and services will return to normal as soon as possible.

All roadworks affecting bus services in Hailsham have now been completed and bus services are therefore back to normal.

Owing to road resurfacing in South Road, Hailsham severe traffic congestion is causing delays to all services using this area.

Owing to roadworks in Hailsham Town Centre, causing London Road to be closed, southbound Bus Services travelling to Eastbourne are being diverted.

Services 51, and 52 are using Summerheath Road then back along North Street and into the High Street while Services 22 and 54 will travel along Hawthylands Road before following the diversion. Northbound services are not affected.
