As previously advised Twelvecards will not be accepted for travel after Friday 28th February 2003.

After this date unused tickets can be returned to either The Bus Stop Shop at Eastbourne Railway Station, or our Offices at Birch Road, for proportionate refunds up until the 30th June 2003.

From Sunday 30th March 2003 Service 51 on Sundays will be altered to operate between Eastbourne and Hailsham, Anglesey Avenue only. This service will NO longer operate to Lower Dicker, Berwick, Drusillas Zoo and Alfriston.

An alternative service between Hailsham, Polegate and Alfriston also serving Drusillas Zoo, Michelham Priory, Charleston Farmhouse and Middle Farm, Selmeston will be provided by The Cuckmere Community Bus on an hourly basis from the 30th March until the 14th September 2003 inclusive. The revised Service 51 will operate to exactly the same route on Sundays as it does during the week and in the evenings i.e. from Hailsham North Street via London Road to Leaps Cross then Hawks Road, Union Corner, Horsebridge Mill, Anglesey Avenue, Hempstead Lane and London Road to Hailsham High Street.
