Service 6 - Langney - Town - Sovereign Harbour

Service 6 will run to a new timetable. The service becomes hourly from Langney to Sovereign Harbour via the Town Centre with an off-peak half-hourly service between the Town Centre and the Harbour. Some journeys between the Town Centre and the Harbour are provided with financial assistance from East Sussex County Council.

The route is unchanged.

Service 18 - Meads - Town - Polegate - Langney

The 1737 journey from Meads will terminate at the Town Centre and not continue to Polegate and Langney.

Services 21 and 143

The 21 and 143 are provided with financial assistance from East Sussex County Council. The County Council are to seek new bids to operate this service and an announcement will be made during the school term.

Service 53

The service is, from June 2nd , being operated with financial assistance from East Sussex County Council who are reviewing its long term future. It will continue to operate the current timetable until the end of the school term.

All other Eastbourne Buses services will remain as shown in the current timetable booklet dated 23rd February 2003.

Owing to several sets of roadworks around Polegate and Hailsham, some services travelling through these areas are being delayed.

We will do everything we can to minimise any late running and we apologise most sincerely for any inconvenience caused but the roadworks and subsequent traffic jams are totally out of our control.

From Sunday 29th June fares on all our services will be revised.

Within the Eastbourne Fares Zone, an Adult flat fare of £1-10 will apply, children (under 16) 60p and Countycard holders 55p.

Fares outside of the Eastbourne Fares Zone are being revised on the same day. Please assist by stating your destination.

The cost of Day Tickets, Weekly Tickets and Season Tickets will also be revised.
