Owing to Roadworks in Langney Rise near to the Martello Inn, delays to Services 1 / 1A are being experienced especially during peak times.

We will do everything we can to minimise any late running and we apologise most sincerely for any inconvenience caused but the roadworks and subsequent traffic delays are totally out of our control.

Featuring newly restored 1928 Leyland Lion Eastbourne Bus. Stalls, trade and memorabilia • Beer Tent • Attractions • Hot and Cold Food. Just Unique Roadshow, Bands and Performers including Lost4Words and Bar5Jazz. Approximately 12.30pm - Arrival of the Eastbourne Belle at Eastbourne Station. 2.30pm Cavalcade of Buses on the Seafront with band. 4.30 pm Departure of the Eastbourne Belle with a steam locomotive. Plus motorcycle display also on the Western Lawn featuring Harley Davidson 100. Something for all the Family.

From Monday 28th July 2003

Service 53 will be withdrawn apart from school journeys.

Service 53A will be replaced by Service 52A but will not operate via Grove Hill or Dittons Corner.

Services 21 and 143 will no longer be operated by Eastbourne Buses.

From Monday 28th July 2003 Countycards will NOT be accepted for travel before 0900 hours Monday to Friday.

They can still be used all day Saturdays, Sundays and on Bank Holidays.
