For the period of Airbourne 2001, 16th - 19th August, The Borough Council have arranged a parking area at the end of Lottbridge Drove adjacent to the Sovereign Centre. A bus service will be operated between 10 am and approximately 7:30 pm from the Car Park to a bus stop on Grand Parade near the Pier.

The fare charged for the bus journey will be £1 adult and 50p child each way. Parking is being charged separately. The service will run every 15 minutes with duplication at busy periods.

At peak times during Airbourne 2001 bus services in the Town may suffer disruption due to heavy traffic attending the above event.

Eastbourne Buses will make every attempt to operate services as close to the published time as possible.

Due to the problems caused by congestion along the seafront the Open-Top Seafront Service 3 will not operate on 16th, 17th, 18th and 19th August 2001.

Normal operations will resume on Monday 20th August.
