This is the timetable that commenced in April 1972.

It included a foreword detailing changes since the last timetable:

FOREWORD

The following changes have been made since the introduction of the timetable dated 5th September 1971:

Service 2: Now operated with 'autofare' system. Revised Times.
 
Service 3:

Route extended via Trinity Trees, Trinity Place, Marine Parade, Royal Parade and Princes Road to the Crumbles Estate (Ramsay Way), returning via Beatty Road.

Weekday evening and Sunday frequency now hourly.

Stops between Tally Ho! and Eastbourne Station re-introduced.

 
Service 5:

Weekday evening and Winter Sunday frequency now half-hourly.

 
Service 6:

All journeys will be diverted to Wartling Road Coach Station during the period of its operation (approx. Easter to October).

 
Town Tour:

This will operate over a revised route via Princes Road.
