December 2004
 

Coach 906 returned from Eastgate Trimmers of Pickering, North Yorkshire on Thursday 16th December.


November 2004
 

Bus 269 left our Paintshop on 25th November. It is now painted into an allover advert for ASDA Eastbourne and will be used on their Shopper bus.

 

Coach 906 went to Eastgate Trimmers of Pickering, North Yorkshire on Tuesday 23rd November for an interior refurbishment.

 

Another Leyland Olympian has joined the fleet. Registered G305 UYK, it was collected on Monday 22nd November from Ensign Bus (Dealer). It has been allocated fleet number 256 and has Leyland bodywork.

 

Buses 259 and 260 both left on Monday 22nd November. They went to Ensign Bus (Dealer) of Essex.

 

Bus 119 left the Paintshop on Monday 15th November in the all-over blue livery.

 

Bus 133 was delicensed from 12th November. It is currently stored.

 

Bus 269 entered the Paintshop on Tuesday 9th November.

 

Bus 119 entered the Paintshop on Thursday 4th November.

 

The Mercedes minibuses 325 and 330 were both repainted and ready for service by the 1st November.

 

Buses 116 and 259 were both delicensed from 1st November. Both are currently stored awaiting disposal.


October 2004
 

Two Mercedes 709D minibuses with Alexander bodywork joined our fleet on Tuesday 26th October. They were collected from Stagecoach at Winchester and are for use on the Hailsham Town Bus. The two vehicles are L325 YDU and L330 YKV and have been allocated fleet numbers 325 and 330.

 

Bus 514 was returned on Thursday 7th October and was replaced by a Volvo B6 with Wrights Crusader body. This has been given fleet number 515 and is to cover for Bus 58 which is still away for repair.

 

Another Alexander bodied Leyland Olympian has joined the fleet. It arrived on Saturday 2nd October and has been given Fleet Number 277. It has registration G363 YUR and is from Blue Bus of Bolton.


September 2004
 

An Alexander bodied Leyland Olympian has joined the fleet. It arrived on Saturday 25th September and has been given Fleet Number 276. It has registration G362 YUR and is from Blue Bus of Bolton.

 

Bus 38 entered the Paintshop on 21st September for a repaint.

 

Coach 904 left on Saturday 18th September. It has been sold to Countywide Travel of Hampshire.


August 2004
 

Bus 39 entered the Paintshop on Thursday 19th August.

 

A Volvo SB120 Wright Merit arrived on Wednesday 18th August on loan while Bus 58 is repaired. It is allocated Fleet Number 514, has registration number BU03 RTX and will operate on Service 1 / 1A.

 

Bus 44 left the Paintshop on Wednesday 18th August. It is painted red for an all-over advert for Eastbourne Vauxhall.


July 2004
 

Bus 58, one of the new Volvo SB120s, caught fire at Stone Cross on Friday 30th July. The vehicle was in service on the new Local service 5. Everyone was immediately evacuated and there were no injuries. East Sussex Fire Brigade attended very quickly which meant that the bus only sustained damage to the rear. The bus was recovered that afternoon by Volvo and taken away for investigation.

 

Bus 36 has had its Destination Screen enlarged to accomodate a new Hanover LED Destination Display. This was fitted on Friday 2nd July.


June 2004
 

New Coach 954 was delivered on Thursday 3rd June.


May 2004
 

Bus 59 arrived on Saturday 29th May.

 

Bus 61 arrived on Wednesday 18th May.

 

Coach 906 went into our Paintshop on Thursday 13th May.

 

Bus 120 had vinyl lettering for "Links Screen Printers" and Groves Publicity on Sunday 16th May.

 

Bus 55 had the Centenary livery removed on Thursday 6th May and had lettering for local jewellers "W Brufords" applied on Sunday 9th May.

 

Bus 120 had the vinyl lettering for the Sumfield and Day allover advert removed on Sunday 9th May.

 

Bus 60 arrived on Wednesday 5th May.

 

Bus 57 was first used in service on Wednesday 5th May.

 

Bus 58 arrived on Saturday 1st May.


April 2004
 

Bus 45 was returned on Thursday 22nd April.

 

Bus 45 was taken away on a low loader on 13th April for repairs at Unitec in Essex.

 

Bus 56 was first used on Service 4 on Tuesday 6th April.

 

Coach 900 came out of our paintshop on Friday 2nd April and was first used on Saturday 3rd April.

 

Coach 903 was sold and left on Thursday 1st April.


March 2004
 

Coach 900 arrived on Sunday 28th March.

 

Bus 56, a Volvo Wrights Merit, arrived on Thursday 25th March and went straight into our Paintshop.

 

Bus 126 left our Paintshop on Thursday 25th March in an all-over advert for Sovereign Radio.

 

Bus 126 entered our Paintshop on Tuesday 16th March to be repainted into an all-over advert.


February 2004
 

Another Scania Irizar coach, W343 MKY, arrived on 26th February. Numbered 953 it is an ex-Buddens Coaches.


January 2004
 

Coach 950 went to Eastgate Trimmers of Pickering, North Yorkshire on Monday 5th January for an interior refurbishment.

 

Bus 122 entered our Paintshop on Monday 12th January to be repainted into an all-over advert.

 

Coach 950 returned on Tuesday 20th January.
