January 2003
	Leyland Olympian 257 entered our Paintshop on Friday 17th January for some re-panelling work and a re-paint. DAF SB220 126 (Gold Livery) was involved in accident with a coach on the morning of Friday 31st January in which the front off-side corner was badly damaged.

February 2003

Leyland Olympian 257 left the Paintshop on Thursday 6th February and went straight out on Services 1 / 1A. Click here to view Bus 257. To cope with a shortage of vehicles due to accident repairs and mechanical failures, two vehicles have been hired. An Optare Solo arrived on Friday 6th February, registered GU52 HXM it has been allocated fleet number 511. It was first used in service on Monday 10th February on the Service 8A. Click here to view Bus 511. Also returning to us on hire is S401 JUA an Ikarus bodied DAF SB220. This vehicle was collected on Monday 10th February and has been given fleet number 512. This vehicle was also with us last summer. Click here to view Bus 512. Bus 38 was taken on suspended tow to Unitec at Rotherham for major mechanical repair on Monday 10th Febraury. Bus 512 was first used on the Service 2 on Tuesday 11th February. Bus 38 was collected from Unitec at Rotherham following repairs on Tuesday 18th February. Bus 126 left our Workshops on Wednesday 26th February following accident repairs.

March 2003

Leyland Olympian 258 entered our Workshops on Monday 3rd March for re-panelling and repainting similar to Olympian 257. Leyland Olympian 260 is back in service on Friday 6th March having had a replacement gearbox fitted. Dennis Dart 121 left the Paintshop on Tuesday 11th March. It had been repaired following an accident and is now in fleet livery after carrying an all-over advert. Click here to view Bus 121. Hired DAF 512 was returned to Arriva Bus & Coach on Wednesday 19th March. Yellow EASTBOURNE MOTORBUS 100 ~ 1903 - 2003 lettering was applied to most of the fleet on Sunday 30th March. Single decks have this on the roof panels to the rear of the vehicle while on double decks their are below the lower windows in front of the rear wheels. The lettering is on both sides of vehicles

April 2003
	Optare Spectra number 274 attended Cobham Bus Museum Open Day on Sunday 6th April. The trip was arranged for members of the East Sussex Omnibus Society.
	Gold buses 55 and 126 had special Centenary lettering and vinyls applied on Friday 11th April. They consist of the "Eastbourne Motorbus 100" lettering in blue and a Milnes-Daimler double deck facing towards the latest Wrights bodied DAF with the Council crest between them.
	Coach 905 entered our Paintshop on Wednesday 23rd April to be repainted into our new coaching livery.
	Bus 55 (Gold Centenary livery) went to the Stagecoach Garage at Bar End, Winchester on Sunday 27th April. The day was organised by Friends of King Alfred and Stagecoach in Hampshire to mark 30 years since the demise of King Alfred Buses. Click here to view Bus 55 at Winchester Bus Garage.
	Bus 258 left the Paintshop on Wednesday 30th April following its repaint.

June 2003
	Coach 951 left the Paintshop on Monday 2nd June.
	The Leyland Roadtrain "Wrecker" A65 TBH has been sold, it went to Renown Coaches on Tuesday 3rd June.
	Bus 126, DAF SB220 in Gold Livery, went to Southsea Bus Rally on Sunday 8th June.
	On Monday 18th June Bus 271, DAF Optare Spectra, went away for repairs to its off-side following an accident.
	Another coach arrived on Wednesday 18th June. Numbered 950 it is a 1997 Scania K113-CRB with Irizar Century body and is registered P144 GHE.
	Coach 950 entered the Paintshop on Monday 30th June.

July 2003
	Coach 950 left the Paintshop on Friday 4th July in the Flagship Eastbourne livery.
	Bus 271 was returned on Wednesday 9th July having had its off-side panels repaired by Optare at Leeds following an accident.
	Bus 269 entered the Paintshop on Monday 28th July for a repaint.

August 2003
	Bus 269 left the Paintshop in the latest livery on Monday 11th August.

May 2003
	Coach 952, an Irizar bodied Scania, was collected on Friday 2nd May from Scania Bus and Coach. On arrival, it went straight into our Paintshop, and will emerge in our new Flagship coaching livery.
	Coach 905 left our Paintshop on Thursday 9th May having received the new Flagship coaching livery.
	Coach 901 left the fleet on Thursday 15th May. It went to Scania Bus and Coach (Dealers).
	Coach 951, an Irizar bodied Scania, arrived on Friday 16th May from Scania Bus and Coach. Like 952, it also went straight into our Paintshop, and will emerge in our new Flagship coaching livery.
	Coach 952 left our Paintshop on Friday 16th May finished in our new Flagsghip coaching livery.
	Coach 902 left the fleet on Thursday 22nd May. It went to Scania Bus and Coach (Dealers).

September 2003
	Bus 41 was used to host a National Federation of Bus Users Bus Surgery on Wednesday 3rd September. The bus was parked in Terminus Road between 0945 and 1515 hours.
	A Renault Multirider 12 seat minibus arrived on Friday 5th September. The vehicle is on loan from East Sussex County Council to enable us to operate a Shuttle Service to and from the Hill Road area while road resurfacing is carried out. Normal sized buses are unable to get through while contractors machines are in use. It is allocated fleet number 513 and will only be used on the Shuttle Service.
	On Wednesday 17th September Coach 904 entered the Paintshop to be repainted into the Flagship Eastbourne livery.
	Renault minibus 513 was returned to East Sussex County Council on Thursday 18th September.
	Buses 257 and 258 had mega-rear adverts applied for Eastbourne Vauxhall on Sunday 21st September.
	Bus 272 entered the Paintshop on Thursday 25th September for a repaint.
	Coach 904 left the Paintshop on Friday 26th September.
	Coach 904 went to Showbus at the Imperial War Museum, Duxford on Sunday 28th September.

October 2003
	Hired Optare Solo 511 was returned on Thursday 9th October.
	Bus 272 came out of the Paintshop on Thursday 9th in an all-over advert for two local music shops.
	Coach 903 had Flagship Eastbourne lettering applied on Friday 17th October.

November 2003
	Bus 282 entered the Workshop on Wednesday 19th November. It is being stripped down to ascertain the amount of work required to refurbishment it.

December 2003
	Bus 261 left the fleet on Saturday 6th December. It has been sold to the SELNEC Preservation Society who collected the bus.
